ہیں اور یہ ماضی کے لیے استعمال ہوتے ہیں۔”Helping Verbs”امدادی افعال یعنی Were اورWas

استعمال کرتے ہیں۔”Is” کے ساتھ single name یا کوئی he,she,it واحد فاعل جیسا کہ

استعمال کرتے ہیں۔”were” کے ساتھ ہمیشہ “plural”جمع اسم

Was aur were imdaadi afaal yaani “helping verbs” hain aur ye maazi(past) ky liye istamaal hoty hain.

Waahid(Singular) fael jaisa keh “he,she,it I yaa koi singular name” ky liye “Is” use karty hain.

Jamaa isam (plural) “ we, they yaa agar aik sy zyaada ky liye “Were” use karty hain.

Note: “You” ky saath bhi were use krain gy.

ہم کھیل میں لگے تھے۔ Hum khel mein lagay thy. (We were at play.)
